Head of Marketing
Job Description
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy. You will lead a team of marketing professionals to ensure that our brand is well-positioned in the market and that our messaging resonates with our target audience. You will work closely with the CEO and other members of the executive team to ensure that our marketing efforts align with our business objectives and can support our growth.
Job Summary
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to support sales growth, brand awareness, and customer acquisition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and customer service to develop marketing plans and campaigns that align with overall business objectives
- Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and direction on marketing initiatives
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, including tracking and reporting on ROI
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Develop and execute campaigns across various marketing channels including digital, social media, email marketing, events, and content marketing
- Analyze and report on the success of marketing campaigns, making adjustments as necessary
- Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies
- Experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the energy sector
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
- Experience with digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
